Walking Diary: Today's walk looks slightly autumnal with grey skies and mist but the humidity is very high. Starting by the Wallingford bypass, The Ridgeway becomes a single track that hugs the side of the road. Crossing the fast moving A4074, the path meanders gently uphill with pleasant countryside views. The Ridgeway merges with The Swan's Way which is a long distance bridle route that runs along 65 miles from Salcey Forest in Northamptonshire through to Goring-On-Thames in Oxfordshire
