Anna Dillon - Landscape Artist

I was born in the market town of Wallingford (then Berkshire) in 1972 and spent the first few years of my life in Wiltshire near Avebury. At the age of seven I moved to Oxfordshire.

The ancient countryside of the British Isles and Ireland continually inspires me to paint vibrant and colourful landscapes. As someone who enjoys long distance walking, travel and exploration I am determined to visit and paint as many landscapes as possible within my lifetime.

Photographing Silbury Hill

I’ve divided my work into counties (The Devon Series, Berkshire Series) and I work continually to build a collection of landscape paintings of special places or interest from each location.

As a painter I have developed my style using bold and strong colour which reflect the form, contours and light of the land. I paint with thin layers of oil paints, built up gradually and slowly.

Most of my original paintings are also available as Giclée Prints.
